Service kit for the Pierburg 2B carburetors.
This service kit contains, amongst others, the following parts to service 1 carburettor:
- Various gaskets as per the photograph
- Various rubber o-rings as per the photograph
- Enrichment diaphragm
- 2 x Needle valve Type A
Please note:
The Pierburg 2B carburetor series was supplied with a variety of Needle Valves throughout its lifespan and the needle valves are NOT interchangeable!
This rebuild kit is, as standard, supplied with Needle Valves Type A, as per the below picture.This needle valve has an internal spring (hidden from the eye) and a solid brass tip. It measures 20.75 mm in overall length.
The set can also be supplied with Needle Valves Type B, also as per the below picture. This needle valve has an exposed spring, a red rubber tip and measures 22.3 mm in overall length.
In order to select the correct needle valve, you need to disassemble your carburettor to check which version you require.
